Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

Eternal Wigs Ltd is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and supporting the UK Government's ambition to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, we are developing our carbon management programme and will continue to improve the measurement, monitoring and reduction of emissions across our operations and supply chain.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

This Carbon Reduction Plan establishes Eternal Wigs Ltd's baseline greenhouse gas emissions for the reporting period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

The emissions have been calculated using available operational data and UK Government greenhouse gas conversion factors. As a small business, some Scope 3 emissions are estimated using available business activity data and will be refined as additional information becomes available.

Current Emissions Reporting

Current Emissions Reporting

Eternal Wigs Ltd has completed its initial greenhouse gas emissions baseline for the reporting period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Emissions have been calculated using UK Government greenhouse gas conversion factors and, where appropriate, estimated using available operational data. As our sustainability programme develops, we will continue to improve the accuracy of our emissions reporting and expand the scope of measured data across our operations and supply chain.

Future Carbon Reduction Plans will report annual progress against this baseline and identify further emissions reduction opportunities.

Carbon Reduction Measures

Although our formal emissions reporting programme is still being established, Eternal Wigs Ltd has already implemented or is planning several initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including:

  • Reducing unnecessary packaging materials

  • Increasing the use of recyclable and sustainable packaging

  • Working with suppliers to encourage sustainable sourcing practices

  • Improving waste reduction and recycling within operations

  • Increasing employee awareness of environmental responsibilities

  • Providing customers with guidance on responsible product care and disposal

  • Reviewing opportunities to improve energy efficiency within business premises

  • Considering lower-carbon logistics and supply chain improvements where practical

Future Commitments

Eternal Wigs Ltd intends to:

  • Establish a verified greenhouse gas emissions baseline

  • Measure Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions

  • Publish annual Carbon Reduction Plans

  • Set measurable emissions reduction targets

  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve environmental performance

  • Review progress annually and continuously improve environmental performance

Governance

Responsibility for implementing this Carbon Reduction Plan rests with the Directors of Eternal Wigs Ltd.

Environmental performance will be reviewed annually and this Carbon Reduction Plan will be updated each year to reflect progress, revised emissions data and future reduction commitments.

Declaration

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with NHS Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 006 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Where emissions data is not yet available, Eternal Wigs Ltd has provided an honest representation of its current position and is committed to developing full greenhouse gas reporting in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

This plan will be reviewed annually and updated as our carbon reporting programme matures.
